Scientific and clinical department of telemedicine and computer analysis

Main goals of our department are development, trial and adaptation of telemedical technologies into applied medicine, medical education and science.

Objectives

1. Organization of telemedical consultations online and off-line.
2. Preparing of training and methodical materials for students and professors of morphologic departments of medical universities.
3. Development and introduction of new software for collecting and analysing digital information on professional level with correct application of variational and nonparametric satistics.
4. Development and introduction of new methods of computer analysis on basis of contemporary stereology half-tone and full-colored images.
5. Development of databases as the most optimal form of data management.

Services

1. Remote telemedical consulting patients of orthopaedic and traumatologic profile for determining of necessity of treatment in RSC RTO
2. Remote consultations for physicians and hospitals in cases of complicated orthopaedic and traumatologic pathology.
3. Consultations for research officers, physicians and hospitals on quantitative telepathology using digital data about morpho-, densito-, colorimetry and full colored images of micropreparations.
4. Consultations for research officers, physicians and hospitals, roentgenotelepathology using original noninvasive diagnostic tests on basis of computer morpho- and densitometry, banding by intensity half-tone images of CT-scan, magnetic resonance images and X-ray pictures.
5. Remote consultations on veterinary.
