Russian Ilizarov Scientific Center for Restorative Traumatology and Orthopedics

Short-term course (5-10 days of training)
The dates and course programs are agreed upon with companies or individual participants and usually meet your interests, professional skills, and experience in the Ilizarov techniques.

The program of training includes lectures, discussions of clinical cases, hand-on workshops with bone models, life surgeries. The training is conducted by highly qualified Faculty members and supervised by Professor Vladimir Shevtsov, Director of RISC RTO. The rate is 300 USD/220 euros per day of training. The cost does not include accommodation and boarding.

You may stay in the Center’s hotel (570 rubles/night or 2000 rubles/night depending on the room) or in other hotels of Kurgan (60-100 USD/night). Food expenses are usually about 10-30 USD/day.

Travel arrangements

To apply for the Russian entry visa an official invitation is required. Provide the Center with the following data to issue the official invitation:

Scanned passport copy

Place of birth (city, country)

Permanent home address

Place of work or study, its address and position of an applicant

Dates of arrival and departure

City where a visa will be obtained

Please apply for your official invitation well in advance, because the invitation processing time is about 30 days.
