Case report

Case 1

Patient K., age 49, suffered from permanent aching pain in the left knee joint, limitation of joint movement, unsupporting of the left lower limb, sense of foreign body presence inside the joint. Occasionally, movement in the joint blocked, but appeared spontaneously, causing synovitis. The diagnostic arthroscopy was applied. After that the patient began to walk without additional support. Shape of the left knee joint did not change. Movement in the joint is in full measure. Axis of the limb is correct.


Case 2

Patient P., age 32, was admitted with complaints on pain, unstability and limitation of movement in both knee joints. Simultaneously arthroscopy of both knee joints was carried out. Excision of meniscus of the right knee joint was carried out by Clinz method, of the left one - by Holder method. After treatment the movement in both joints is in full measure.

Case 3

Patient I., age 28, diagnosis: simple multisplintered fracture of medial plateau of tibia, injury of internal meniscus. Diagnostic arthroscopy of the left knee joint, partial resection of internal meniscus, reposition and osteosynthesis by Ilizarov apparatus of medial condyle of the left tibia under arthroscope control were applied.
