Case 1

Patient B., age 16, diagnosis: juvenile, epiphysiolysis of the left femur head. Clinical examination revealed limping, marked limitation of movement in the left hip joint, left lower limb shortening. Closed reposition of epiphysis was applied. Neck-shaft angle and neck length were restored. Control examination after 1 year displayed the absence of pain syndrome, the range of motion in the left hip joint became full. The lower limb length became equal.

Case 2

Patient A., age 19, diagnosis: ankylosis of the left knee joint in the vicious position. Cup-and-ball osteotomy in the top of deformity and the imposition of Ilizarov apparatus with articulating units were applied. Functionally suitable form of limb was shaped. Durable union of segments in places of osteotomy was achieved.

Case 3

Patient G., age 37, diagnosis: ankylosis of the left hip joint in the vicious position, limb shortening up to 3 cm. The reconstruction and lengthening of the femur bone up to 5 cm was applied. Functionally favourable position was given to the limb. Its bearing function was restored. Length of lower limbs became equal.

Case 4

Patient N., age 18. After the compound intraarticular fracture the permanent extension contracture of the left knee joint was developed. The patient was operated with patented method using apparatus. The contracture was eliminated and the motion in the joint was restored.

Case 5

Patient T., age 54, diagnosis: malunion of the fracture of the right crural bones with gonarthrosis as an outcome. The disturbance of biomechanics of loading of the right knee joint and varus deformity of the shank were revealed. Pain syndrome, invalidity. Biomechanical correction of crural bones with Ilizarov apparatus was applied. The axis of the shank and the motion in the right knee joint were restored. Keep on working as a farmer.

Case 6

Patient A., age 76, diagnosis: bilateral idiopathic gonarthrosis of the II stage. At the time she was admitted to the Center she had the ache in knee joints, more in the right. She had the limitation in motion, so she had the necessity in additional care. The quality of life was low. The patient underwent phased reconstructive operations on the right and the left knee joints. As a result: pain syndrome was arrested, biomechanical axis of lower limbs were restored. The quality of life increased. Now the patient does not need outside care.

Case 7

Patient G., age 59, diagnosis: right idiopathic gonarthrosis of the III stage. At the time she was admitted to the Center she had the ache in the right knee joint. She had the limitation in motion, evident limping. The patient underwent reconstructive operations on the right knee joints. As a result: pain syndrome was arrested, biomechanical axis of lower limb was restored. Range of motions in the right knee joint increased. The patient could walk without additional support.

Case 8

Patient A., age 62, suffered from boring pain in the bulge in the right popliteal space, discomfort and flexion limitation in the right knee joint. Conservative treatment was unsuccessful. Contrast arthrography revealed Baker's cyst. The patient was operated with methods, developed by RSC "RTO". On the control examination after one year the patient had no complains. He could walk without additional support, without limping, completely loading the leg. The motion in knee joints is in full range.

Case 9

Patient G., age 17, diagnosis: congenital anomaly of cannon-bones. The patient took hard his malformation, was secluded. He was oppressed with social unclaimness. Complicated reconstruction of cannon-bones with placing the limb into functionally favorable position was applied (the method is patented). The patient is satisfied with results of treatment. He became active with coevals and interested in life.
