A nurse of FIS RISC RTO participating in Great Honour of Being a Nurse Regional Contest of Excellence in Nursing
Regional Contest of Excellence in Nursing was held at GOU SPO Shadrinsky Medical College, on May 11th 2007. Directorate for Education of the Kurgan Region, Health Authority of the Kurgan Region, Public Employment Service for the Kurgan Region and Federation of Trade Unions for Kurgan Region were contest organizers.
The contest is supported by ÎÎÎ Global Star, ÎÀÎ Farma and NP Board of Regents of Shadrinsky Medical College.
Olga V. Kaluykina, a charge nurse of orthopaedic department ¹ 2 participated in the contest. She got high scores highlighting prevention of internet dependence in her sanitary bulletin.
Olga was really good at infection safety control testing and coped with graphic cases quite well.
She also succeeded in practical manipulation techniques of head dressing and intravenous drop infusion.
The contestants were offered to play a simulation game of emergency care nursing, so they can reflect more critically on their experience and use their critical skills.
Our contestant won Miss Mercy title as voted by a judging panel that included faculty members of Kamensk-Uralsky medical college. Olga was awarded with a letter of gratitude by Social Security Administration of the Kurgan Region, and Participant Diploma and a souvenir by Directorate for Education of the Kurgan Region.
There was a support team from the Ilizarov Centre with N.V.Sazonova, Cand. Sci. (Med.), Deputy Director for Out-Patient Clinic, Kozmina T.E., Cand. Sci. (Med.), Deputy Chief Surgeon and a colleague of orthopaedic department ¹2.
