"Genij ortopedii" (ISSN 1028-4427, Orthopaedic Genius) a scientific and practical journal in memory of academician Gavriil A. Ilizarov is established by the Russian Ilizarov Scientific Center for Restorative Traumatology and Orthopaedics (Kurgan) and Regional Academician Ilizarov Foundation. The journal has been published since 1995 once in 3 months in Russian with abstracts in English. Articles of foreign authors are presented in English. |
What is inside the journal:
- original articles of scientists, orthopaedic and trauma surgeons on clinical application, experimental study and perfection of the Ilizarov method;
- up-to-date information about new methodical development of transosseous osteosynthesis in traumatology, orthopaedics, vertebrology, angiology, oncology, arthrology;
- theoretical surveys, scientific discussions;
- materials of scientific conferences and meetings, reports on Kurgan society of orthopaedists and traumatologists;
- reminiscences about G.A.Ilizarov;
