Established by High Medical Technology Fund awards for the best scientific works of 2006-2007 were granted to 9 winners in three nominations.

The prizes were awarded to
-- V.I.Shevtsov, A.N.Diachkov, A.M.Chirkova, Y.M.Iryanov, authors of the book Regeneration of Skull Bones with Transosseous Osteosynthesis;
-- Olga Serebryakova, managing editor of Kurgan i Kurgantsy municipal newspaper and Vera Musina, a journalist, for the series of articles about the Russian Ilizarov Centre;
-- A.B.Sloboskoy, Kirsanov V.A., A.Y.Popov, military surgeons of Saratov, authors of New Methodology for Application of Transosseous Osteosynthesis in Complex Management of Bone Fractures/

Awards, diplomas and gifts were presented at a Scientific Council meeting that took place on Tuesday, 29th January 2008 at the Russian Scientific Centre for Restorative Traumatology and Orthopaedics. High Medical Technology Fund was founded in 2001 to provide support for scientists who contribute to the development of transosseous osteosynthesis techniques using the Ilizarov external fixation.
